Green Roofs are about water. Green roofs retain 60-100% of the precipitation that falls onto them. What water does pass through a green roof will flow away more slowly and will be filtered. We have developed a good understanding of the role water plays in green roof systems and how these interactions change with different assemblies and waterproofing.
