Intrinsic is a leader on the North Shore and in Chicago for residential landscaping and landscape maintenance. We are aware of the negative effect that industry standard procedures and materials can have on our environment. Our approach to low-impact landscaping is much more holistic; we have a perennial nursery where vibrant plants are grown naturally and we are constantly working towards reducing our carbon footprint as a company.

Intrinsic Landscaping employs the practice of natural lawn care with all of its maintenance and fertilization services. This involves using organic fertilizers as well as sound and proven cultural practices, without manufactured chemicals. Aeration and over-seeding are staples of our natural approach as well as adding nutrients to the soil. Rich, healthy soil produces thick turf grasses and helps to prohibit weeds as well as other diseases and insects. It is the vision of Intrinsic Landscaping to provide all of our customers with lush, vibrant turf without the use of chemicals or pesticides.
